Eicma 2025 Milano - NEW 2026 Italjet Roadster 400 - The italian "Retro-Futuristic" Scooter - Details

The second new addition to the Italjet stand at EICMA 2025, the Milan fair, is this fantastic "Retro-Futuristic" scooter, which combines a classy Italian design with cutting-edge technical features. In short, if Robocop were to ride a scooter around Rome, I couldn't think of a better vehicle. Built primarily from steel and aluminium, with minimal plastic, it features air intakes for the engine radiators in the rounded sides. Powering it is a 394cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with dual Akrapovič exhausts, capable of developing 31 kW (41.5 hp) at 7,500 rpm and 41.2 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, with a dry weight of 151 kg. The DLAS (Dynamic Linkage Articulated Steering) system, patented by Italjet, is immediately noticeable. It features a single-arm front suspension derived from the Dragster's, modified to provide more precise steering and stability when cornering without sacrificing the comfort typical of a scooter. La seconda novità allo stand Italjet presso Eicma 2025, alla fiera di Milano, è questo fantastico "Retro-Futuristico" scooter che abbina a una linea classeggiante tipica italiana contenuti tecnici di altissimo livello. Insomma, se Robocop dovesse girare a Roma in scooter, non potrei pensare a un mezzo migliore. Costruito prevalentemente in acciaio ed alluminio, con poco uso di plastica, ha nelle fiancate bombate le prese d'aria per i radiatori del motore. A muoverlo ci pensa un motore monocilindrico da 394 cc, raffreddato a liquido, con doppio scarico Akrapovič, capace di sviluppare 31 kW (41,5 CV) a 7.500 giri/min e 41,2 Nm di coppia a 6.000 giri/min, con un peso a secco di 151 kg. Si nota subito il sistema DLAS (Dynamic Linkage Articulated Steering), brevettato da Italjet, che prevede all'avantreno un monobraccio derivato da quello del Dragster, modificato per garantire una guida più precisa ed offrire stabilità in curva senza rinunciare al comfort tipico di uno scooter.
