SLEX TR4 stands for South Luzon Expressway Toll Road 4, a 66.74-km highway connecting Sto. Tomas, Batangas, and Lucena, Quezon. It is designed to cut travel time from about four hours to just one hour, which will improve connectivity and stimulate economic growth in Southern Luzon.
Project details: SLEX TR4 is a two-lane expressway that is part of the SLEX Phase 2 Project and is being developed in six sections.
Benefits: Once completed, it is expected to significantly reduce travel time, enhance mobility, and drive economic growth in the provinces of Laguna, Batangas, and Quezon.
Current status: As of early 2025, the project is nearing completion, with major progress being reported.
