Knee stability refers to the ability of your ankle and hip muscles to co-contract through a range when doing activities. This may or may not mean holding a neutral alignment, it really depends on the activity that you are pursuing.
In today's video we go over the tug-of-war relation between the hip adductors (inner thigh muscles) and hip abductors (outer hip and gluteus muscles). These muscle groups have an antagonistic relationship with each other when it comes to stabilizing the knee. When one muscle group is activating as a local mobilizer the other has to co-contract to work as a local stabilizer. When one of the groups aren't doing their job knee issues can arise.
