Polipetti affogati is a Neapolitan dish in which baby octopuses are poached in tomato sauce. This is a very simple to prepare and versatile dish, as you can use the same recipe to prepare an appetizer, a pasta dish or a main course.
Ingredients for 2 people:
1 lb (450 g) of baby octopus
1 lb (450 g) of tomato sauce
1 Tbs of extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves of garlic
1.7 oz (50 ml) of dry white wine
salt
1/2 tsp of chili (optional)
Fresh parsley
