Opening the Kung Fu Fan - Both Right and Left Handed!

Here is an updated video of how to open the kung fu fan. If you have seen my previous video, stay tuned as I am adding how to open the fan in your left hand, which can be difficult if you have a right handed fan.

Being able to snap your wrist and pop the fan open with little movement is an exercise of snapping power which is very important in martial arts development. So when you get the basics down, practice opening the fan from different angles and positions respective to your body.

Besides a nice expression of power, opening the fan with a pop will command attention and is an impressive way to begin a demonstration.
