Today, April 7th, 2025, Six Flags Magic Mountain is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the Viper. Designed by Ron Toomer and built by Arrow Dynamics and opened on April 7th, 1990, the Viper was the world's tallest and fastest looping roller coaster at the time with a height of 188ft and a top speed of 70mph. The ride featured the world's highest inversion at the time at 140ft. The Viper is the last surviving 7-looper model built by Arrow Dynamics.
