Many people are concerns of have questions about NHS health checks. In this video you will hear Jane from Healthy You answer some of the most frequently asked questions such as how long does it take? What happens if I get any abnormal results?

These free checks help you to spot early signs of potential health problems such as stroke, kidney disease, heart disease, type 2 diabetes or dementia, and help find ways to lower this risk.

Held at local community venues across Cambridgeshire, these checks include:
Questions around you current health and lifestyle.
Height/ Weight Check and BMI
Cholesterol and blood sugar (hba1c) test
Blood pressure check

These health checks usually take around 20- 30munutes and the results of these checks are explained to during the check.
