Residents at Bridport Community Centre explain how easy it is to access a targeted community NHS Health Check from LiveWell Dorset.
An NHS Health Check is a free 30-minute check-up on your cardiovascular health. You are eligible for an NHS Health Check if:
• You are aged between 40-74
• Haven’t had an NHS Health Check in the last 5 years
• Haven't got a pre-existing health condition such a heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease or had a stroke.
If you have been invited for an NHS Health Check by your GP, it is important that you take up that offer.
