This was played with the Dolphin emulator.
This was played in NG+, however, it is possible to do this in NG, provided that you have adequate coins. I think 150 coins should be enough. Any level will work, but the condition is most of the power-up skills must be learned.
Abaasy has a physical damage resistance of 40%. You can add topple strength up gem at 100% to double damage when Abaasy is toppled. Debuff the physical damage resistance by using Shulk's slit edge and then Dunban's Worldly Slash. That should result in +30% physical damage. There is a +90% cap, and I think the game will prioritize on damage bonuses before critical bonuses.
It is actually better for Dunban to use Peerless, but I didn't do that because Shulk's Monado III and his Level 99 status does enough damage.
