The Chicago Mosaics Art Kits are a way you can learn how to make a luminous mosaic from the comfort of your home!
Your Chicago Mosaics Art Kit comes with everything you need: a Georgia O’Keeffe flower print to use as a design template, various colors of art glass specific to the design, a 9x9” plexiglass sheet with corner holes to hang the mosaic when finished, a wheeled nipper tool for cutting and trimming the glass, glass glue, grout, latex gloves for grouting, a sponge for cleaning the grout off the mosaic and an instruction and advice sheet to help you as you work.
Francine has 20 years of experience doing mosaics and teaching classes to beginner and advanced students. Mosaic art is a wonderful art for both adults and young adults with proper supervision. O’Keeffe-inspired flowers are a favorite glass mosaic project from Francine's classes at the Chicago Botanic Garden, in art centers around the Midwest and her personal Chicago studio.
