A Steam 2-6-2 Prairie Class Std Gauge Locomotive

It was a miserable rainy day. Along with some wind, it did add to the smoke and steam effects. Fortunately, the "people fitler" on the camera worked quite well. There were few to no people in all the scenes.
I did add one scene, shot on a windy but sunny day, from 12 years earlier in 2013. I wanted to show that the sun does shine on the Oregon coast...sometimes.
On that day in 2013, my wife and I were driving along the Oregon coast. Can you imagine our astonishment as we were rounding a curve and seeing a live steam locomotive, just about 5 meters off the hiway, and coming straight at you!!! After I composed myself, I managed to get this shot, with my little Canon instamatic camera, leaving the station the next day. This was probably my biggest railroad surprise of my life; being a life long model railroader. I had never heard of this railroad in Garibaldi...which was in itself surprising considering my background. I hope you enjoy this video.
