A glider climbs to over 20,000 feet in Welsh Mountain Wave

This flight from Denbigh Gliding, North Wales started on the Clwyd ridge, stepped into the wave and having moved into wind to above the Conway valley, climbed to over 20,000 feet or 3.8 miles.
Oxygen is used from 10,000 feet, not electronically fed in this case and controlled airspace is avoided unless clearance from ATC has been given. The glider was a DG200-17mtr
