Ethanol fuel (E10 and E5) and fuel stabilisers test - part 1
As per the thumbnail - aim of this 'experiment' is to establish empirically, whether or not the new E5 and E10 fuel will cause damage to your engine and the whole fuel system and also how the process start (if it really does - I think it does). It's a simple approach, but will show how fuel degrade in time and will the additives prevent it from happening. After all, we do a lot to protect our vehicles.
And when it comes to classics we will go the extra thousand miles to get them protected. Or at least I will do. This is the first episode, due to the nature of experiment - we will see the outcome as time goes by. There will be few updates, as I'm not sure really what to expect, I will come back in a weeks time to see if any changes took place and I'll report it back to you. See you soon!
