[4K] Fokker 100 Carpatair Helsinki-Riga Full Flight Report! + Helsinki Terminal Spotting!

This flight was our entire purpose of the trip to the Baltics and Finland. Air Baltic had leased two Fokker 100s from Carpatair to operate a couple of routes out of Riga, Latvia. This meant that there was a rare opportunity to book commercial Fokker 100 flights again in Europe! We booked this flight, only to fly back to Helsinki the next day (on the same aircraft, but still nice). Check out that video as well, when we publish that one! We arrived at the airport pretty early, which meant that there was plenty of time to do planespotting from the terminal. Helsinki is a great place for terminal spotting, as there is always some good action. We were just in time for a peak in ATR movements, resulting in spectacular powerbacks! We also saw a beautiful DC-3 Dakota. All in all a great way to kill the time while waiting for our Fokker Flight.

The flight itself was really good. We had the best seats in the house, from an avgeeks perspective that is. The takeoff was stunning and we had a good view of the city of Tallinn, Estonia's capital city. Earlier this trip we went to Tallinn to fly the Jetstream 32!
