A Million Dreams 2025: In a world we design

“A Million Dreams 2025” was an international youth exchange organized by AGfJ in Hamburg e.V. and the LEPL College Tetnuldi, Mestia.

It brought together young people from Germany, Georgia, and Russia to foster dialogue, intercultural exchange, and shared reflection.

The project invited participants to share their visions and nightmares and to begin shaping new realities together. Personal encounters were at the center, emphasizing the power of dreaming toward building a more peaceful and solidarity-based future.

Participants explored Georgia’s regions of Svaneti and Adjara, including a multi-day hike from Mestia to Ushguli, followed by time at the Black Sea coast in Batumi.

Throughout the journey, they collected messages, artefacts, feelings, and dream-representations in personal receptacles—a symbolic record of their personal transformations.

At the end of the program, these fragments were reassembled into collective visions of the worlds participants dreamed of. The process was showcased through a street performance, projecting participants’ dreams into public space and engaging with broader community realities.
