Hiking alone around Lanzarote – I Climbed Montaña Blanca (PART 2)

Straight from the sleeping bag into a steady ascend to the top of Montaña Blanca, the largest volcano on Lanzarote. More than 400 meters of elevation through bare volcanic terrain, climbed in silence, at my own pace. From the top, the island opens up in all directions. Vast, exposed, windy, and raw.

After descending from the crater, I made it into civilisation to eat and restock, moving into an empty desert. No marked paths, no shade, no movement. Just distance and heat, step after step. Finished the day by bivouacking in endless sand dunes, surrounded by silence, wind, and darkness.
