In this real-world application demo, we machine a pump shaft for the oil & gas industry using exclusively Vargus tooling. Filmed at Harper College, the project showcases lathe operations including turning, grooving, threading, and setup optimization. Programming was provided by hyperMILL® from OPEN MIND, with final inspection supported by Bruker alicona.
