The stock manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor reads accurately up until 20 pounds per square inch (PSI). If you are increasing your boost levels, you will also need to replace your MAP sensor so that you can accurately read what level of boost your vehicle is at. A tune is required to program the vehicle to use the upgraded sensor.
