18 June will mark 40 years since the execution of 10 Baha'i women in Shiraz, Iran. They were all hanged together on one night. Their crime? Belief in a faith that promotes the principles of gender equality - absent and criminalized in Iran - as well as justice and truthfulness.
The Baha'i International Community has launched the worldwide campaign, #OurStoryIsOne and I am humbled use my talents in aid of this campaign by creating the video below. This video is not only for these 10 women but ALL women of Iran who have contributed to the importance of gender equality.
