If a thicker sauce is desired, reduce the condensed milk to one teaspoon.
One of my favorite dish to eat when we go to a Chinese restaurant is the "Honey Walnut Shrimps"! But it is extremely expensive! I'm glad I am abled to make it at home using my airfryer for a healthier version! It is so delicious with fresh hot rice and some leafy greens. I love how the honey mayonnaise glaze compliments the crunch on the outside and natural shrimp flavor on the inside. The toasted sesame adds a nuttiness to the overall flavor and the candied walnuts creates a contrast of texture.

Honey walnut shrimp is a popular cantonese dish originated in Hong Kong. It is served in restaurants and have become so popular that one can find easily! It's a wonder how something so simple tastes so delicious! Lightly batter and fried, then glazed in a honey mixture and served with candied walnuts. It is a joy to eat and so satisfying to one's belly.
I'm cooking mine up in the Instant Pot Vortex today! It is a healthier version for my family to enjoy. But if you don't have an airfryer, just fry them up on the stove top with some oil. As with any seafood, shrimps cook amazing fast! So in order for the shrimp to not be over cooked, the shrimps will need to chill thoroughly. This will insured that the batter on the outside has enough time to crisp/crunch up in the airfryer without overcooking the shrimp.
