Part two of the "gallop/skip-step" vid also features lateral movement drills that 1) will aid you in cutting off the ring but 2) will also give you a good leg warmup/workout and help your knees. Lateral movement should be focused on to also prevent injuries a la ACL tears, as there seems to be a real focus these days on forward and back movements. This is just a quick run through in the end, as we have been hit with a lot of ice and snow, so there is no way to do a normal workout outside (and gyms are still closed due to COVID).
