The 20474 Chetak Express connects the City of Lakes, Udaipur, with the National Capital, Delhi. This overnight train is known for its scenic route, historic junctions, and the experience it offers to both travelers and railfans.

The journey is in two different classes, Udaipur to Ajmer in 2nd AC, and Ajmer to Delhi in 1st AC, as a single ticket end to end was not available. It begins from Udaipur City,, moving through Rana Pratap Nagar and Mavli Junction. At Chittaurgarh Junction, the train reverses direction, with views of the massive Chittaurgarh Fort in the backdrop. From here it continues towards Bhilwara and Ajmer, where it merges with the Ahmedabad–Delhi main line and runs parallel to the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC).

On the way, the Chetak Express crosses important trains like the Jaipur–Udaipur Vande Bharat, Ashram Express, and Humsafar Express. After Phulera, it skips Jaipur and takes the bypass route via Ringas, Nim Ka Thana, Narnaul, and Rewari, before reaching Delhi Sarai Rohilla in the early hours.
