Welcome back to Cruise Travel And Explore With Stick Man Steve! On Day 5 of our incredible 15-day Marella Cruises holiday, Gemma and I explored the stunning island of Aruba as part of the Tropical Delights and Paradise Islands itineraries aboard the fabulous Marella Voyager.

🚢 Our Day in Aruba:
We docked in the vibrant capital of Oranjestad from 8 am to 8 pm. For the day, we booked the Aruba Off-Road Adventure excursion (£57 each, 4.5 hours) through Marella Cruises, and wow, what an adventure it was!

🌟 Excursion Highlights:
1️⃣ Casibari Rock Formation: Unique boulders shaped by Aruba’s trade winds—a natural wonder!
2️⃣ Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins: A glimpse into Aruba’s gold rush history.
3️⃣ Natural Bridge: Stunning ocean-carved formations—a photographer's dream.
4️⃣ Alto Vista Chapel: A peaceful and historic spot with beautiful views.
5️⃣ California Lighthouse: Aruba’s iconic landmark with panoramic vistas.
6️⃣ Arashi Beach: Paradise on earth! We had just an hour here but soaked in the crystal-clear waters and enjoyed a refreshing mango beer at Arashi Beach Shack.

💭 Our Thoughts:
The excursion was fantastic value, though we wished for more time at Arashi Beach, which was simply breathtaking. If you’re heading to Aruba, don’t miss this slice of heaven!

🍽️ Back on Board:
After a quick stroll around Oranjestad, we returned to the Marella Voyager to freshen up for dinner at Kora La, the ship’s premium pan-Asian restaurant (Deck 6). Pre-booked for £34 each, it was an absolute treat! From delicious dumplings to curries and the exquisite Thali platter, every bite was worth it. If you’re sailing with Marella, this restaurant is a must-try!
