In the world of game engines, two major titles fight for supremacy, while polarizing the game development communities: Unreal Engine and Unity. The battle is neck-to-neck and both engines present impressive features that lure the game developers into changing sides.
However, one aspect often causes Unity to appear poor in the eyes of some: Graphics. While arguably not crucial for a game's success, for many, good graphics still act as an advocate for product superiority and still play a major role in marketing a product and attracting potential users.
Because this is rather a case of misunderstanding Unity's graphics capabilities than a proven fact, the mission here is to break the myth according to which Unity is bad at graphics by demonstrating how state-of-the-art graphics can be achieved with Unity by anyone with minimum effort and impact. Various strategies, techniques, tips and tricks will be presented.
