This is the Cleveland Metropark Zoo’s youngest baby gorilla, her name is Kunda. About 90% of this video is showing Kunda with her mom, Kebi. You also will see Kayembe and Fredrika in this video. Mokolo has a cameo appearance too. Kunda was born on July 19, 2023. Her mom is Kebi (Kebi Moyo) and her dad is the leader of the troop - Mokolo.

Kayembe was the first zoo born gorilla at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Kunda is the second baby born in Cleveland in less then 2 years.

Birthdates: Mokolo 7/10/87, Fredrika 6/5/74, Nneka 9/23/98, Kebi 1/13/91/ Tusa 12/2/89, and Kayembe 10/26/21, and Kunda 7/19/23.

The Conservation status of the Western Lowland gorilla is “Critically Endangered”.
