Porsche 993 Engine Drop: I Can't Believe My Eyes!

It's time for the first Porsche 993 engine drop ever done on my 1995 Porsche 993 911 Coupe.

My Porsche 993 has 102,000 miles on it and needs a new clutch. In order to get that job done, my air cooled mechanic needed to perform a Porsche 993 engine drop procedure.

In this video, I take you along with me as I view the 3.6 flat six engine out of the car and listen to some information my mechanic shares with me about my Porsche 993 engine condition and the process in general he follows to perform a Porsche 993 engine drop.

Based on what I learn about the condition of the car, I will have no problems with spending money continue to modify my Porsche 993 911. What I mean by that is I have a good, clean and most likely problem-free 993 Coupe and because its a great example, I have a solid platform and will continue to mod and change it without worries that it will have significant issues.

Bottomline, I don’t want to pour a lot of money into a car that’s going to have ongoing maintenance issues. So, it looks like I’m in the clear!
