On the way down from the observation deck to the ground floor, one of the two double-deck elevators that are perhaps the most well-known elevators in the building was used. Their lower decks served the sky lobby for the Corporate Suites (boutique offices) on Zones 5-7 of the building on floor 123 from the concourse, while the upper decks accessed via the ground floor acted as a shuttle to floor 124 for visitors to At The Top, the building's first and main observation deck, on the 124th and 125th floors. Visitors to At.mosphere, a restaurant and sky lounge on floor 122, also used the lower decks to get to floor 123 first, where they would access the restaurant one floor below via a spiral staircase. A triple-deck design for these elevators had reportedly been contemplated when the building was still on the drawing board; while there also used to be rumors that these elevators would be the fastest on the planet at 18m/s (3,600FPM) narrowly beating out the observation deck elevators in Taipei 101 that runs at 16.83m/s (3,367FPM) (a feat later achieved by Mitsubishi elevators in Shanghai Tower in 2016, though those are single-deck elevators), they eventually were installed with a maximum speed of 10m/s (2,000FPM). They, however, still are the fastest double-deck elevators in the world, now tied with those in Lotte World Tower, Ping An International Finance Centre, and Shanghai Tower. The lower decks had stainless steel interiors as with the local elevators serving the Corporate Suites, while the upper decks of both cars originally had LCD screens and LED lights shaped like the building's cross section for visitors' entertainment. Around 2019, the upper deck of the car on the right received a makeover in which all of the side walls were covered with OLED displays, in trend with elevators serving the observation decks of then-recently opened skyscrapers; the one of the left still remains original to this day. They belonged to a double-deck variant of Otis' Skyway model with Japanese Elevonic 413 controllers, though the "super double-deck" pantograph interface between the two cars apparently had not been implemented for these. The fixtures consisted of the same kind of custom Series 4 buttons and LCD monitors as the other elevators in the building, as well as horizontal bar-shaped hall lanterns and jumbo-sized custom call buttons. Perhaps because they had been more than a decade in service at such heavy traffic, they were showing some signs of distress, with slight wobbling while running at full speed (though not overly uncomfortable) and a very loud howling noise that drowned out the background music which played while the elevators were in motion. On the whole however, they still ran pretty fine.
