Aethermancer is the new game from the developers of Monster Sanctuary. This is another Monster Taming game but this time as a roguelite. Just like their last game I think this is a great game in the genre, with many interesting and unique monsters that actually feel unique and are not just different flavours of the same thing. Synergies are a strong focus here with many abilities and monsters complementing each other.
Explore the void, collect various monsters and train them up in order to beat the champion monsters that wait at the end of each section. Monsters gain new skills on each level up and it's your job to find the best combinations to win. Between runs you can spend crystals on various upgrades to give you an edge in future runs.
It's honestly one of the best games I have played this year and since the game is still in active development it can only get better from here.
