The (Learning, Innovation & Technology (LIT) Labs Showcase wraps up the Fall 2025 sprint with a demo from Team 4 and a community conversation about what’s next in learning, innovation, and technology.
In this session:
• Team 4 presents Mix-Up Fixer—a locally hosted AI tool that clusters misconceptions using xAPI data and delivers real-time, LLM-powered guidance with practice questions and citations.
• We explore how the tool operates, including how it uses clustering, prompt templates, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), and a low-parameter Llama 3 model for fast deployment.
• The community discusses tools like LM Studio, Jan.ai, and orchestration platforms (e.g., N8N) for building AI-supported learning agents.
• Meg Fairchild and Megan Torrance preview the upcoming LIT Spotlights and This Party is LIT in-person event.
