DQ2 Playthrough | Part 7: Shipward Bound to Alefgard

With ship in hand, we venture off.

We first explore the ocean to get stuff but then our next stop takes us to a very familiar place: the kingdom of Alefgard. Remember this continent? In the original Dragon Quest II, there weren't that many places to visit. Truth is, there were only two: Tantegel & the Dragon Lord's Castle. Here though, you have access to the entirety of Alefgard. Seriously, there's a lot.

Of course, we head for Tantegel Castle and meet up with the King and the Chancellor. They tell us there's someone that can help us when it comes to the situation with Hargon. And to prove the point: we get the Rainbow Drop. What for you ask? To head into the Dragonlord's Castle.

We'll see it happen in Part 8.
