Building a City Sized Timber Industry - Cities Skylines 2

The new suburbs are finished, and the residents have moved in. Everything seems Peachy. But resource wise, Lithia Bay is in trouble. We're currently running a two-thousand-ton deficit in timber, and it only gets worse. We have deficits in paper, furniture, and the raw material required to make all it all... Wood.

Because we don’t do any local harvesting, we're forced to import every wood related product and that's sending millions of dollars in potential revenue to our neighboring counties.

So to capture that revenue and reduce the reliance on imported goods, Tess Mercer designates and approves a new heavy industrial zone for timber extraction.

So today, we’re going to build a massive operation for extracting and storing wood, set up a particleboard factory to start processing timber, and of course a fire station because I'm surprised Lithia Bay hasn't burnt down already. Let's build out the forestry industry!
