Chrysler 200 - RADIO REMOVAL / REPLACEMENT (2011-2014)

Step-by-step guide on how to remove / replace / install or upgrade factory radio on Chrysler 200 sedan ( 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | LX | TOURING | LIMITED ).

Removing the radio unit on Chrysler 200 is easy. First pop out plastic trim surrounding the radio. Be careful not to damage the vents which are a part of the trim piece. Then unplug the clock at the top and traction control / hazard lights button on the bottom. Remove the trim piece. Then remove four torx T20 screws which are holding the radio in place. Pull out the radio. Unplug radio antenna and power cord. That's it.

If you are replacing the factory radio with another factory radio make sure to have the radio code. It is usually found on a small card which is a part of the owner's manual. If you don't have it, you might have to contact Chrysler dealership with radio and donor vehicle serial numbers to get the code.

If you are replacing the factory radio with aftermarket radio, make sure to get the right wiring harness for the brand of your new radio and radio kit for Chrysler 200.
