🏞 About Lourdes - France Sanctuary .

It is located in the Hautes‑Pyrénées, in the Occitanie region of France, covering about 52 hectares and encompassing the Massabielle Grotto where Saint Bernadette reported Marian apparitions in 1858; officially recognized in 1862 .

Lourdes features three basilicas: the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception (upper), the Rosary Basilica (lower), and the underground Basilica of
St Pius X .

🏰 வரலாறு (History of the Upper Basilica)

பரிசுத்த குகை தோராயமாகவும் தென் வடிவுப்படுத்தப்பட்ட புனித இடமாகவும் 1858-ல் புனித பெர் நபதேட்டே (Bernadette Soubirous) என்பவரிடம் வெளிப்பட்ட மாதா மரியம்மை ஆசிகள் பிறிதொரு உள்ளீடு செய்யும்படி கூறினார். அவரே புனிதரின் வாக்குப் போலில்:
"Go and tell the priests to build a chapel here."

அவரது பரிந்துரையின் பேரில் 1862–71‑ம் ஆண்டுகளில் ஹிப்→பொ―ல்ட் டியூராண்ட் (Hippolyte Durand) வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டு நியோ‑கோதிக் (Neo‑Gothic) பாணியில் கட்டப்பட்டது. அடிக்கல் 1866‑இல் போதுமான அளவிலான கிரிப்ட் (crypt) அமைக்கப்பட்டது, இப்போது அடித்தளத் தேவாலயமாக உள்ளது

1871‑ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 15‑ஆவது பண்டிகையன்று ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டு, 1876‑இல் முழு மேம்பாட்டுக்குப் பிறகு consecration செய்யப்பட்டது .
