In this training video I show how you can strengthen the wrists and build the forearm muscles. Strong wrists and forearms are required in many sports, such as tennis, rowing, climbing and gymnastics. In the gym, some people neglect the forearms because they assume that grip strength is sufficiently trained by holding dumbbells and that the forearm muscles are sufficiently trained by doing biceps curls in the lower or upper grip. However, this is not correct. And so I’ll show in this video tutorial how to build strong forearm muscles with resistance bands. The 6 exercises and variations are: wrist flexion, wrist extension, pronation and supination of the hand, and ulnar and radial wrist deviation. You can also do this forearm workout with a theraband or tube expander.
