Clear, effective communication and outreach are essential to helping families understand and access Summer EBT. Community based organizations and schools serve as trusted messengers and vital partners in supporting States, Tribes, and Territories operating Summer EBT in reaching as many eligible kids as possible. This session draws on lessons learned from the past two summers and looks ahead to 2026 and beyond, offering practical strategies for strengthening Summer EBT outreach in your community. We’ll explore ways to simplify messaging, engage trusted messengers, and leverage tools to raise awareness and reduce confusion about the program. Participants will gain insights into what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what’s needed to reach more eligible children. Attendees will leave with tips and strategies to enhance Summer EBT outreach in their communities.
