I got this pair of lamps on eBay a little while back. I don't know much about them, beyond that they were in a pretty sorry state!
I would guess they're around 100-150 years old, but that's just a guess.
The design is curious, too; what were they used for? I'd have thought some sort of bicycle lamp, but those are usually coloured. Railway lamps are usually bigger and have glass on multiple sides. So I don't really know - if you have any ideas, leave a comment!
