This is a ride on the Historic Steam Train at Fort Edmonton Park in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The engine is a 1919-built Baldwin 2-6-2 Prairie Type, originally built for the Industrial Lumber Company in Oakdale, Louisiana - it worked there for fifty years until it was abandoned. In the late-1970s the engine was rediscovered and delivered to the park, and in 1978 it returned to life as "Edmonton, Yukon & Pacific 107" - a homage to Edmonton's first railway company. The carriages and caboose are ex. Canadian National/Northern Alberta Railway - all of them are lettered for the Canadian Northern Railway, which succeeded the Edmonton, Yukon & Pacific Railroad and was eventually merged into the Canadian National Railway.
Filmed in the afternoon on July 4th, 2021.
