Went trackside for the first time in a couple of years. I'm surprised the batteries in my camcorder and scanner still hold a charge. I've neglected both for quite some time. Anyway, the trains pictured are:
L042, Q679 and Q614 at the north end of Greentop, milepost 33.87 on CSX's AWP-WofA subdivision.
L042 was a giant, over 8900 feet long.
Lastly Q197 rounds the curve alongside US 29 at the Bagley Cove crossing. No slouch at over 6800 feet in length. Bagley Cove crosses the tracks twice, this is the southernmost of the two crossings.
