After a couple of layover days I moved on to an island boat site where I stayed in 2018 while renting from Leisure Island Houseboats.
Weather was cloudy, hazy, with potential for rain. Temps were pleasant. The island had a very steep landing on the NW side but I made it work despite a struggle to keep the bow eye from hitting rock. The opposite side of the island is less exposed. I landed there in 2018.
There was no firewood at the site so it was fortunate I cut a surplus at the last site and brought it along.
