Today I'm showing you how to whip up a super simple, ridiculously tasty slow cooker chicken dinner—starting with a rock hard frozen bird. Yep, I forgot to thaw it. No worries. This recipe is proof that dinner doesn’t need to be complicated to be delicious.
Just pop your chicken into the slow cooker with some water, lemon, and seasonings—that’s it. No chopping, sautéing, or fussing. Let it simmer low and slow all day, and if you're feelin’ fancy, toss it in the oven before serving to crisp up that skin. Dinner? Done.
✨ Recipe ✨
1 whole frozen chicken
1 tbsp each of: lemon pepper, seasoning salt, pesto seasoning, thyme (or whatever you love!)
1/2 lemon
1 cup water
📌 Pro tip: Forgot to thaw your chicken? SAME. Just rinse and toss it in frozen. Add seasonings once it softens up a bit—works like a charm!
🥕 Want to make it a one-pan wonder? Add some veggies like potatoes, onions, carrots or squash right in the pot!
👩🍳 This is one of those “real life, real good food” kinda meals. Perfect for busy days, lazy days, or any day you don’t want to spend forever in the kitchen.
