Iceland LXVIII - Winter driving to Setur Highland Cabin │ Part 164

“Setrið”, Highland Cabin owned by “Ferðaklúbburinn 4×4”.

I and my two good friends Trausti Þorgrímsson and Jón Júlíus Hafsteinsson went up there to enjoy the beauty of the Icelandic Highlands in wintertime and to have some fun and relax.
It was a great tour – Thank you guys

The Highlands is an area you should avoid driving during winter in Iceland. Most of the roads are inaccessible and closed down for the season. Northern Iceland runs into the same issue with the exception of Akureyri or main roads. If you have a remote area on your itinerary, it is best to save it for summer.
