This charming town is the hometown of Tora-san, the beloved character from “It’s Tough Being a Man.”
From Shibamata Station to Taishakuten Temple, the entire approach street is filled with preserved Showa-era downtown vibes.

Don’t miss the famous kusa-dango (mugwort rice dumplings with red bean) — the flavor is incredibly rich, and the handmade taste from the old shops is unforgettable!
