Read Republished HTTP Data (web pages) using MQTT over Websockets

As organisations move to publishing more data over MQTT instead of http there will obviously be a need to receive this data using a standard web browser.


Almost all MQTT brokers support MQTT over web sockets and so we can use a standard browser with a little JavaScript code to access the republished data.

This is the approach that is likely to be adopted when publishers move from to publishing data over to MQTT.


In this video we look at how to access web pages republished over MQTT in a web browser just like as if they were using http.
