Canoe Wild Camping on Loch Awe Scotland | Canoe trip battling the elements in the Scottish Highlands

I head up to the Scottish highlands for 3 days of wild camping on a Scottish loch. Unbeknownst to me I was coming down with some sort of chest infection pre trip, I noticed whilst I was away my get up and go had got up and gone haha, the week after at home I was in a bad way. In hindsight I should have postponed the trip till another time, but when you hear the song of the paddle you just have to go!

On arrival the weather was glorious, the sun was shining and the wind was nowhere to be seen, it wasnt to be the case for the rest of the weekend. The Scottish highlands weather beat me up and spat me out haha, I shouldnt complain really, its scotland its supposed to be raining!

I've been out in worse and get on with it, but I was in a bad way. I didnt get to explore Kilchurn Castle but it was still an amazing trip in stunning surroundings.

A big thank you to the fella who gave me a hand with the bags and canoe on the get out who was waiting for a tow, unfortunately I didnt get his name.
