I find myself back in Kagawa again, but this time for Naoshima, one of Japan’s art islands located in the Seto Inland Sea. At almost every corner on this island there are many cool designs, sculptures, and unique architectures for guests to see. Though the buses are helpful rental bikes are highly recommended because they allow more freedom. If you have a hard time finding accommodations, try staying in Takamatsu or Okayama City since they both have ferry terminals. Most of the museums such as Naoshima New Museum of Art, Chichu, Benesse House, Hiroshi Sugimoto Gallery: Time Corridors, and Lee Ufan require reservations so check ahead of time before going.
*My favorite part of Naoshima would have to be the random art encounters along the cycling path. The museums were nice, but we kinda knew what we were expecting.
