Video Description:
We begin the tour of all my saltwater aquariums with the 40 gallon breeder. This setup has been through a lot of changes going back two years.

We go back in time when this was a simple fish only quarantine tank meant for a Toby Puffer fish that I never got. Had some cheap Current USA lights on board, an Amazon no-name heater, and the Penn Plax 300 HOB filter. Worked great.

But then I got sick of having 3 quarantine tanks in the bedroom, so broke down all tanks except for this 40 gallon breeder, moved it out to the living room, changed the lights to Mars Aqua 300W.

Eventually upgraded 40 gallon tank by drilling an overflow, installing a Marine Depot Elite overflow box, hard plumbing the system, and installing the MD 30" Elite sump by Trigger systems. This simple qt tank took on a life of its own.

About 6 months ago, starting picking up some frags, and also decided to break down the 120 gallon tank, so needed to move all of the livestock into the 40 gallon breeder setup.

So now, I have a 40 gallon frag tank/observation tank, and I really don't even have a quarantine tank anymore.

Up to the present. We go through all of the fish I currently have (10 in total), and I try my best to correctly name all of my coral frags. I'm sure I screwed up, but I tried! I'm terrible with coral. names!

What does the future hold for this system? Coral frag grown out, that's pretty much it!
