SEATON BEACH WOODLAND Walk near LOOE, Cornwall. Flat route for wheelchairs/mobility scooters/prams.

A nature reserve walk near the sea, ideal to get away and have some peace as not many people know about it.

Please note there are 2 Car parks in Seaton plus parking on the roadside but in bays so you can park a converted Wheelchair accessible vehicle if you need back access. The roadside one has two disabled bays, can get full very quickly in peak season.
There is no drop curb by the bays so you will have to go slightly on the road to get back on the pavement. Again please be careful here
Also if you park in the bay next to the pay machine people are very close to your car when they need to pay. Just a tip !!

The carpark near to the toilets has 3 Disabled Bays
The second car park often gets flooded so please bear this in mind especially if its been raining loads.

There are no electric charging point at present

There is a café on the beach front but this is closed at present.

There are great disabled toilets.

Also one pub and a beech diner with many tables
There is upstairs seating but they don't take dogs and have no lift.
Disabled toilets are on the ground floor at the back of the café.

This is a 2 mile flat walk. one mile there and one back.
Its very pleasant and gets you away from the beach if its busy.
Can get muddy with some impressive puddles if had lots of rain.
Nice and cool in the summer and can be windy and cold in the winter.

Seaton beach isn't wheelchair friendly as the sand is very thick.

Please be careful crossing the road as the cars come from know where and its a through road, so they can go quiet fast.

During peak summer they do have a coastguard.

Please also note that the signal is not great if you have any. The café and pub do have however their own Wi-Fi which you can connect too.

Just a lovely walk, peaceful and completely flat. Great as a stop off point just 10 mins off the main road heading to Looe
