The parliamentary Covid-19 task force has called for a forensic audit by the Auditor General into the 4 trillion shillings government has so far provided, for the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

This followed the completion of a house committee report on Covid-19. The probe unearthed numerous discrepancies into how this money has been spent since 2020.
