SWW Red Group – Sunday Spin Report
The SWW Red Group enjoyed a fantastic Sunday morning spin, covering close to 80 km on a perfect day for cycling. The weather gods were kind, blessing us with dry, calm conditions, ideal for a sociable and steady-paced club cycle where everyone could chat and enjoy the road.
Riders:
Alan Bevan, Andrew McNamara, Stephen Danagher, Jerry Reidy, Mike Collins, Big Dave Walsh, Catherine & David Hanlon, and myself, Paul Gammell. Hope I got ye all.
Route:
We set off from Kilmallock, heading through Bruree, before turning for Athlacca → Meanus → Fedamore → Ballyneety. A welcome coffee stop awaited us in Caherconlish.
Refreshed, we continued on through Greenane, Ballyvorneen, past Caherline Church, and onwards via Tantore, Herbertstown, Hospital, Emly, Knocklong, and Elton, before rolling back into Kilmallock.
A controlled pace, good company, and great weather made it a memorable spin. Here’s to many more Sundays like this!
