It's the Third Day of CNY, together with my brother's family, we went to take a river ride with the recently introduced Sibu River Cruise where we set sail along the Batang Rajang, the river the defines the state of Sarawak, with all it's past glories and legacies. Although the river has long gone it's prime time as the most important source of transport to the locals, it is still rather nostalgic for me to cruise along this river as it always reminds me of my grandfather who used to take the boat ride every Sunday for having a meal with us at the nearby restaurant and he would always ordered a Guinness Stout. And after the meal, we would accompany him to the jetty near Tua Pek Kong and saw him off.
